Summary

The Battery Discharge Monitor (BDM) is designed to monitor DC power and provide an alarm indication when the voltage is below a preset threshold. The unit is factory calibrated for when the alarm is activated and can be custom ordered for your desired alarm level.

The BDM has a power LED to indicate proper operation and an alarm LED to notify when an alarm condition is present. The form C relay output is energized under normal operation and closes on a loss of power or when the voltage is below the alarm threshold. This provides a “fail on” alarm condition to ensure proper notification of any power related problem. A test button is provided to test the alarm operation allowing the installer to verify proper wiring.
