NEW TOXIC & COMBUSTIBLE GAS MONITORS
PROVIDE UP TO 5 YEARS CALIBRATION
Palmetto, Florida - Quest Controls, Inc. is pleased to introduce new combined and individual toxic and combustible gas monitors for your remote site monitoring applications. These new gas monitors are designed for safe, reliable, and long life monitoring and alarming for toxic and combustible gases for your CEVs, CUEs, CECs, WICs, CEMHs, and CO underground vaults. The gas monitors sense the presence of carbon monoxide, methane, and hydrogen gases and can send visual, audio, and contact closure alarms both locally and back to a centralized alarm center.
“What differentiates Quest’s new gas monitors from many others offered in the market is that ours stay in calibration up to five years without drift,” states Stuart Brager, Executive VP of Marketing & Sales. “This results in large maintenance savings for our customers because they don’t need to be calibrated every six to twelve months like other gas monitors.” With its microprocessor-based electronics, the Quest gas monitors also offer field adjustable alarm thresholds, accessible real-time gas level values, audible and visual LED alarm status, and integrated vent fan control. Because they’re powered at -48vdc, it ensures the gas monitors keep operating in the event of a commercial power failure. Separate relays are provided for sensor failure, carbon monoxide, methane, hydrogen, and vent fan control.
The Toxic and Combustible Gas Monitors are packaged both together and individually. They are designed to be stand-alone or they can feed alarms back through Quest’s TELSEC® Controllers via contact closures. One model, the CGSM300, provides a direct replacement for existing gas monitors and also offers an optional pass-through smoke detector alarm.
In addition to monitoring toxic and combustible gases, the TELSEC® Controller addresses HVAC and environmental control, intrusion alarming, and power plant, battery, generator, telephony equipment, tower light monitoring, and heat exchanger control and monitoring. TELSEC® ’s single solution helps customers eliminate system downtime, reduce visits to the sites, reduce energy costs, extend the life of critical operating equipment such as air conditioners and batteries, and replace multiple electromechanical components.
Quest Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets a complete family of remote surveillance products for the telecommunications industry. These products provide alarm performance, monitoring and control of a telecommunication facility’s critical operating and telephony equipment to maintain and ensure each facility’s smooth and continuous operation.
